This policy explains what personal information Alphinity collects through alphinity.io, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Our other business systems, and the separate websites of our affiliates Aquasyn and ConSynSys, are covered by their own notices.
Alphinity USA, Inc. is responsible for this website. Our Estonian company, Alphinity OÜ, is our establishment in the European Union. Where this policy says "Alphinity", "we" or "us", it means both.
You can read every page on alphinity.io without telling us who you are.
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-5L67781H6B) to understand which pages are read and how people find us. How it starts depends on where you are:
To decide which applies, our host tells the site which country a request comes from. That country is used for this one decision. It is not stored or logged by us.
When analytics is on, Google Analytics records the pages you view, how long you stay, the page that referred you, your approximate location (city level, derived from your IP address), and your browser, device type and screen size. It does not record your name or email address, and we do not join analytics data to anything you send us through a form. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses.
Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies: _ga and _ga_5L67781H6B. Both last up to two years. Google keeps the event data for 14 months. If you decline, or change your mind later, both cookies are deleted.
When analytics is on, we also record a few anonymous actions: a successfully sent contact form, and clicks on email, phone or PDF links. These record which form was used or where on the page the link sat, never what you typed, your email address or the address you clicked.
Advertising features are switched off. Google signals and ad personalization are disabled, and we do not use analytics data for advertising or remarketing.
Your choice is stored in your browser and expires after a year, when we ask again.
We do not use a Meta Pixel, a LinkedIn Insight tag, HubSpot tracking, session recording or heatmaps, or any advertising cookies.
Some services load as part of the page itself, so the analytics choice does not cover them. Each one receives your IP address and basic browser information from your device, because that is how the internet delivers content. Declining analytics does not stop them.
Links to other websites, such as LinkedIn, event organizers and journal publishers, take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
Our host, Vercel, processes IP addresses and request details to deliver pages, keep the site secure and diagnose faults. These logs are short-lived and are not used to identify visitors.
The contact form asks for your name, email address, company and message. Phone number and product interest are optional. Before it is sent, Cloudflare Turnstile checks the submission is not spam. It then passes through our server on Vercel and is delivered by Resend, our email delivery service, to our team's inbox at info@alphinity.io.
Your enquiry is read by the Alphinity sales and engineering team. We use it to answer you and to follow up about what you asked. We do not add you to the newsletter unless you sign up for it.
The newsletter form asks for your first name, last name, company and email address, and a tick to confirm you want to receive it. We also record the page you signed up from and the date and time. Your details pass through our server on Vercel and are stored in a Google Sheet through Google Apps Script.
We use them only to send the Alphinity engineering newsletter, about once a month. Signup is single opt-in: you are added when you submit the form, and we keep the consent tick and timestamp as our record that you asked to join. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email privacy@alphinity.io. When you unsubscribe, your details are deleted from the list.
If you email any Alphinity address, we receive whatever you choose to include and use it to reply.
We store one item in your browser's local storage, alph-consent-v1, which holds your analytics choice and the date you made it. It expires after a year. You can clear it with the button above, or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. The Google Analytics cookies described above are only set if analytics is on. We do not use any other cookies.
We use a small number of service providers to run the site. Each one processes personal information on our behalf and only for the purpose listed.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where personal information from the UK, EEA or Switzerland is transferred there, it is protected by the provider's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss extensions, or by standard contractual clauses.

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. Email privacy@alphinity.io. Tell us the email address you used and roughly when you contacted us, so we can find your records. We will reply within 30 days.
If you are in the UK, EEA or Switzerland and are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to your data protection authority, for example the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK or the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Residents of US states with privacy laws can make the same requests using the same address.
alphinity.io is for professionals in biopharmaceutical manufacturing acting for their organization. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
The site is served only over HTTPS. Access to enquiries and the subscriber list is limited to the team members who need it, and our providers are chosen for their security practices.
We update this policy when the way the site handles information changes. The date at the top shows the last change.
